I got mine with 35k on it for $50 along with a clutch pedal, center console, shifter mechanism and master cyl for the clutch AND the brakes.

Yea, and one synchro cost me more than all that stuff! haha! that was before i had it apart however and found out someone knew how to shift (Everything had practically NO witness marks on it, let alone detrimental wear.

yeah come to find out it is from a saturn vue, from what everyone is telling me, but good news is i can take the internals and swap them over to my stock case and use them. it is a 4.11 FDR instead of the 3.94. which is still going to be ok for me. and i plan to do a new stock clutch and resurfaced flywheel while im in there.
The Saturn Vue FDR is more like 4.41:1...... being turboed, first and second are going to be pretty much useless...... and your HWY RPMs are going to be pretty high.

use the fdr out of ur current trans but swap over the rest of the parts.

I can agree that first and maybe second would be useless. I have 4.11's in my Isuzu and with the GM SC I blew through first gear. I would like to get my hands on an Isuzu SOHC tranny and swap out 1st and 2nd gears which may help a little. Cruising @ 70 mph, I my tach reads 3k
I don't regret changing the FDR, but I think that maybe the higher FDR's will help out an NA or NOS car more than a boosted one.

I have an Isuzu, only replaced once, and I love it.
I am on my 3rd Isuzu. The first 2 were stock and the 3rd I upgraded the diff and changed the gears. ( 4.11's, 2.2 3rd and 4th, and EP LSD ) The only reason I like the Getrag more is because I can get a Quaife ( or OBX ) and change the differential easier than an Isuzu
