Well when I just a 15 year old kid I remember coming to this website knowing that i was going to get a 95 sunfire gt with the kinda rare 2.3l motor.
as you can tell it was a purpe sunfire so we had to do something about that...
unfortunitly i lost the pictures from repainting it but during the winter i got myself a blitz body kit for the car...
ohhh i like this idea!
oh baby
mmm
paint time...
alot of paint fumes
The outcome was great and the process was a great learning experience with my pops teaching me what to do...
this was the first day back at school
Then my buddy got into it...
and my favorite pic...
then my baby went to the hospital
that wasnt a good time.....
then brought her back to life...
shes lookin rough
but my baby came next. As I started working more, the upgrades came quick
Gt rims, tint and droped on my old suspension.
used my old exhaust
AEM Intake
Screen from the old fire.
then these came
Duals?
Missing something here...?
hints for the future...
Then Christmas!!!!!
mmmmm
chyea
After the weekend process
too low
lets go sleeper
lets do some work
^^^hahaha loong night....
My absolute favorite picture of the car..
lets do something with those lights..
Then see ya motor....
So as i was out a car for 8 months, i got out of college and worked worked and worked more to pay for my motor rebuild.
i wasnt off to college when the motor was sent to the shop so after i snapped pics with Boosted

Soon i came to a point in my life where i was moving 12 hours from my house so i had to make the decision to sell it....I actually made out pretty good with trading it in and making 8k on the trade...I traded it for a 05 volvo s40 5spd....I found that bugger for 12k so i made out pretty good on the deal
I miss the addiction of J-body....I met alot of great people on the way. From going to Syracuse meeting the peeps from RDFabs to Maryland and meeting Boosted and those guys....
I cant get the video working...
Nice story, nice pics. I have helped my friend out a little lately rebuilding an 04 S40. We are both GM guys but it has been fun to tear into a foreign platform. They are really well built cars (Volvos).

the fire looks good i love the sleeper look but i deman pics of the charger
nice builds.
but a volvo over that? not so much
The good news is that it's not that expensive to get back into a J again. Any plans for the Volvo?
looked good man, good luck with the new car.
PS. How did you get your sunfire headlights apart....oven? I've been wanting to do that forever.
i actually took a dremel to the seem around the headlights then took black caulking and sealed around were i cut...... It turned out great and never had moisture go back into it. Just make sure you get something flat and smooth the caulking out so it looks legit..
Wow!! You do have some history with the sunfire. I really have to hand it to you on the paint. Love the silver.
