ok so get this, Stock exhast not one change whatsoever, stock 2200 5spd with (i know its about as ricey as you can get but i plan on doing an eco swap soon so i cant justify buying a 300$ intake and have to hack it up to fit properly after the fact or get rid of it ) a ractive cone filter hooked on to the end of the factory rubber intake pipe with the tuner tube removed... thats IT.. i love the sound it makes now my question now is how to i get a decent flowing exhaust and not change the sound of it? and for anyone that will say its dumb to do what i did with the intake, i'll have aproper one once the new motor goes in

the sound you here is just the intake resonating...
that sound wont ever change, but fi you gte an exhaust it will get louder, so you may not hear the sound you wanna hear

I thought that Darkstars had a pretty quiet exhaust on the GTC.
There is a few ways to do a free flowing exhaust without it being terribly loud and ricey.

i have a video of my car from that same day on that dyno...but mine makes a whining sound and it wint the rollers....

I've got a 12" resonator and a high flow cat and a straight through muffler andit doesn't sound that bad. It's not raspy at all, and when you're onto it you can still hear the engine over the exhaust.
Mike, yours is supercharged right? If so i remember that, i waited around that day just to see that car run. lol. What did you put down anyway?
