Well, I picked up a hood for my brothers '98 fire , and as a christmas present i'm going to fix it up and weld in some evil eyes and get it all painted up
the overall plan for the car is a 03+ rear end conversion 00-02 gt front and the full rksport lip as well as the customary painted mirrors and handles
anyways, on to my progress so far
I got to workin on finding all the little dents (which is a bitch with a light colored panel btw) and taking care of the rust and such and all seems to be going well.. i ran out of sand paper for my DA and the wire wheel almost had my ass in the hospital earlier so it can die in a fire...

That brought back some good ole memories from this summer myself... except mine angle grinder won.
and - one good t-shirt which was destroyed when the angle grinder got snagged in my shirt.
The god damn culprit which did the damage...
@!#$ happens, I loved the look my mother gave me when my white t-shirt was blood soaked from my stomach laceration. Took a week off and went back to working on my car once it all started to heal...

frig the laundry, i'm more concerned with the fact that my dad is shooting arrows over the hood into his target.. and jesus cody, that looks painful... what happened with me is a series of 1/1000000 events... my safety glasses fell off my face at the same time the wire wheel had thrown up a piece of paint, and they seemed to miss each other and the paint made it onto my eyeball... not fun at all...

I was striping the under side of my car to get rid of the corrosion before i painted POR-15 onto it, and where the wiring harness for the fuel tank and EVAP charcoal canister comes through was just the hole as I took the whole wiring harness out for the eco swap.
I was going with the surface stripper pad around the hole, and it caught the lip of the metal, and yanked the angle grinder out of my 2 hands, bounced off my arm and landed on my chest ensnaring my t-shirt and eventually stopped the grinder after the t-shirt wound around it soo tight it couldn't spin anymore. Meanwhile I was wearing leather welding gloves, respirator and full face shield. My grinder doesn't stop when you let go of it as I had the switch to full on.
I couldn't bend over for a while until it healed cause it would re-open that scar. Good times with my J.

holy @!#$ cody.. i had a lot of cutting from a grinder on the swing arm project. glad i put them down held on to it by 2 hands.

haha, the cavy's progress will come later on in the winter.. so far i have 8000k hid's and i'm gonna be getting my mirrors painted in a day or so and i'm saving for tien lowering springs
anyways, a tad more progress on the fire.. mirrors in primer waiting for @!#$ to be open tomorrow to get paint
