My $50 present...

Hey,
Picked this up from my next-door-coworker for $50. He swapped it from an 02 Alero.


Started tearing it down. She was pretty dirty.



That could be a problem...





For some reason I thought the Eco was non-interference but this looks like the valve hit the piston but there wasn't any visible damage to the piston, so idk.




Won't be needing these...





I want to eventually build this one forged for a supercharger but I'm not guaranteeing that it will happen.

if only I could find the vid of us getting an eco on $50 parts day, lol.

we managed to get well over 6-800 worth of parts INCLUDING a brand new freshly done then next day the car was rear-ended head for a 94-97 2.2 LN2

Seth. i am also going to buy that coil pack HOUSING. you can gut it. i just want the large plastic piece. you can bring that with when your up here for my mod weekend hahaha. but seriously. mines cracked. haha

Ya, I lucked out. I've been waning a valve cover for a while too and my junkyard wanted like $40 for just that so when I could get a whole engine with the valve cover for $50, can't pass that up.

Nice. We're not big enough here to have days like that. I wish we did though.
