Ive decided that I want to go with a set of one piece halos for the cav but I have a question. I have a 02 and the halos are only for 99 and lower. I know there is a sticky for this but its a lil confusing to me. I know a lot of people go from 99 to 02 but not the other way. Im just wondering how hard is it to do this and what all do I need, I know the hood is good and Ill need a new front bumper but what other things do I need to make this work?

u can go to the wrecking yard and get the headlight harness from a 99 or old cav and if ur goin to do the one piece halos u dont have to change the fenders only other thing needed is a mounting tab that gose under the headlight to hold it in place and yes the frt bumper needs to be changed or u can fill in the gap under the headlights on the bumper you have now.
i changed mine from a 2002 base to the front of a 98 z24 i got the harness from a a 98ish cav and low and behold they dont mate up wih the plug on the firewall, so you just have to splice the wires and the sockets from the 98 and you should be golden, make sure you do a proper connections and use the heat shrink tubes, if you can soder(sp) them that would be great, just follow the directions on the sticky. and same with the last post you need the headlight back clips from a 95-99 and if you are getting the one peice projectors(i got em to ) get more conectors and heat shrink tubes, there are ALOT of wires i still havent finished mine lol its too cold

yea i posted in his correct post in the correct forum. maybe he didnt get a chance to read the sticky at the top of the exterior forum.
