Did you put lift springs on that thing? anyway looks like some stock BS!
when is GM going to make a car that you don't have to swap out everything to get a nice ride?
have a good weekend
exhuast tip is rusted. going to replace that soon
as for lift springs. idk what they are.. i just bought this from a guy who fixes up cavaliers.
what your looking at now is how i bought it. i have not done anything to it
and i kinda like the stock look. im not looking to attract unwanted attention.
eibach pro-kit and kyb agx !
is all you need brother, a supercharger wouldn't hurt either, well have fun with it
you will laugh at me. but i need you to explain what those are
and forget the supercharger...i am a 17 almost 18 year old kid working on minimum wage. theres no way i can afford a supercharger
eibach prokits are lowering springs (some say that they are stock replacements but they arent too bad) and the kyb agx's are 8 way adjustable struts/shocks in the front and 4 way adjustable in the rear. if im wrong someone correct me. you can also get the supercharger used from another .org member at reasonable prices. car looks good overall though. just needs a drop, some performance mods, and maybe some exterior mods. keep it up.
"still want to smash that like the fist of an angry god"
Those are springs and struts. Forget both.
Idk why my first post didn't show up, but get a new exhaust on there and a nice tip. Make sure you get one that isn't going to be loud as hell and sound like @!#$ though. Then leave everything the way it is. It's fresh.
yeahh i'm not putting any of those rice burner things on the car. i HATEE those. i want to stick a potato in one of them. haha
yeah once i get the money to put into this car i'll start upgrading.

Drop it. Get an LS Sport lip kit. Rims. Exhaust. Done. Good luck with it man. Take your time with it and enjoy it, you'll come to love that little car.

Prokit springs are very far from stock replacement springs. And the AGX's are 4 way adjustable in the front and 8 way adjustable in the rears.
Anyways, Nice looking car, IMO I always liked the look of a nice 00-02 Z24, I'd get the ground effects from an 02 though.
From the way it sounds your not extremely into cars. Don't waste your money on supercharging it you'll just end up with more speeding tickets, more frustration, and much more time lost.

thats exactly what I was thinking still i said f*ck it and turboed my car anyway
Nice looking car and welcome. My suggestion though...
1) Save Money
2) Ls sport muffler or another good looking one
3) Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Kyb Agx struts
4) Stock front and rear lips
These are just my suggestions, but you should mod the car as you see fit.
my suggestions, leave the car as is. only spend money on it to repair it and leave it stock. less problems, less to keep upgrading with mods, less down time and money spent on it. not worth it, unless your in it for the long haul then your just insane...
i vote you leave it stock. if your going to replace the muffler, replace it because its bad. not because its rusty. and if your going to, get a dynomax super turbo. cheaper im sure than finding an ls sport one.
I am just starting to get into cars, well I've been into racing ( NASCAR, F1, CART, and local saturday night short track racing at Riverhead Raceway...for those of you who live on Long Island...you know exactly what im talking about). My neighbor is the one who really got me into cars...even though he owns a Cobra ( well 2 but he wrecked the other one because he is stupid)
Thanks for all the suggestions and keep them coming and any tips that you got please PLEASE share them haha
and for those of you who saw the car in front of mine...yes that is the 2002 chevy monte carlo ss dale earnhardt edition. that is my dads.
agree with everyone else lower it ls lips and maybe color match mirrors and handles. nice base to start off have fun with it man, its an expensive hobby
man I really like your car. I wish mine was still that fresh..
my paint is all jacked up and now it has 112k miles.
paint your mirrors/handles to match, drop it, and throw an exhaust on that piece with a nice tip. I miss the modding days...
nah it wasnt salvaged or wrecked or anything
like he bought the z24 and wanted to eventually race it at englishtown
he also has a reallyyyyy nice cavalier that he has done work to
with the economy tanking the project was put on hold and he sold the z24 to me.
boy do i love it
everywhere i go people turn heads haha
can anyone help me what a good choice of rims would be?
