no, nobody filed a police report since there was no injuries, and the damage wasn't that bad (state laws says u don't have to in that case...) With no one being specifically at fault either. We just have to file with our insurance companies. I didn't do anything wrong, it was due to road conditions. The ranger slammed the guy in front of him, and then I hit him. Not as hard though. I had plenty of distance too. Going downhill on pure ice isn't good... My breaks didn't respond at all as far as stopping..
The fenders, hood and pass. headlight are fine. The bumper is @!#$ and so is all the metal underneath it. Luckily the radiator seems to have escaped getting damaged. Could have been worse, but couldn't have happened at a worse time
That sucks dude, I feel your pain on the @!#$ty weather...I was moving my car from a storage unit to a different one about a month and a half ago, and some dumb ass kids playing on the ice in a mini van tried to run me off the road...causing my back end to slide on some ice and go into a ditch, now I need to redo my exhaust and replace a bumper and bumper support.

On the way to school this morning I witnessed at least 5 different accidents, and at least 10 cars stuck in ditches. Apparently there was a 10 car pileup after I got into school too. The street in front of school is a big hill and it was all ice
I have the same car as you and I almost slid into a truck like 50 feet in front of me. Very ironic.

I will defend myself because I was driving safe. I have driven through 6 winters without any incidents,
never been in an accident (winter or not), I am a safe driver especially in @!#$ty conditions.. there really was nothing I could have done. Going downhill on a icey bridge, gravity + slick surfaces were my enemy.

I pay full coverage insurance so Im dropping it off at the body shop tomorrow. I know its more money to fix than my deductable so they can fix it.
Was going to be selling the car within a month or 2, just want everything fxed perfectly.
Sucks that the Vin is tainted now though
