water spots for the lose.
Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...
Well they were bad when i got the car but I cut them out and put in patches and body filler it looked good. As you can tell the trunk i didn't do as well and the rear panels as well will be re done this spring.
I just need to figure out something for under the hood any ideas let me know.
Cheers
Andy
You cant go wrong with an eco swap.

Yeah and its a 96 so time has taken its toll as well. I was thinking of doing the eco swap but Im having trouble finding a motor and tranny and every thing in my area so thats on the back burner.
Thanks for the comments.
Cheers
I would have gone with sanding the rust out before changing the tails...
I've seen that car in Northfield Dr. area Waterloo..
Lots left to do.....my suggestion to you would be to take care of the obvious stuff first to avoid getting flamed out here....
1) Rust needs to go right away...if you don't have the cash do a complete body job simple grind, skim of filler, primmer and a spray.
There are allot of haters that already dislike the Jbody platform.....your adding to their ammo by modding a car that needs simple body work . ( just trying to be
helpful)
2) I am one that believes that its best to wait until your entire kit is ready before installing bits and pieces...the hood alone is fine...however
side skirts without a front and rear looks bad...
3) Its not to often that you find people that can afford to work on the exterior as well as the engine at the same time...I would recommend that you
focus on one or the other....it would appear that you want the out side to look unique do to the hood, tails and skirts....but above your talking about under the hood....
one at a time…( as per BradS10 reply)
Below is a basic and typical blue print to follow if you plan on exterior first...
1 minor body work
2 rims
3 bodykit
4 lower ( 1-3 should be all considered at the same time to avoid clearance issues that may arise )
5 paint ( if not completed in step 1 )
Engine bolt ons..or interior……you pick
if you choose engine which most do...... try the following
1 intake
2 lightened pullies
3 header
4 exhaust
5 boost
If you did the list above you would have a nicely modded car without steps 5 in both categories,( or 3 in category 1 )
Have a plan...think it out and execute it to a "T"...and complete the obvious first ....you wouldn't by and exhaust if you had a hole in the rad right.....why buy a body kit with rust spots everywhere...?
I am interested to see how this project progresses..!
Pm me if you have any questions... I live in Listowel and have plenty of contacts in the area to help you out...!
Contact me about an eco motor i can help u out. Want the whole sub frame? Auto or stick? I have an eco auto tranny right now.

it will look better. Also Im waiting for the spring to lower it I have all the stuff waiting to go on as soon as the snow is gone.
Rims will be in the summer when its lowered.
I will keep you guys updated.
Thanks for all the help Zspot i will keep all that in mind.
Chris Im looking for a 5speed trany if i do that swap but I may just focus one at a time.
Cheers guys and thanks a lot.

Did I miss something or did you do some front end swapping? I do believe those are 00-02 headlights and the same year bumpers...
Now With More Carbon Fiber!
Yeah i did the front end swap and switched the rear bumper. I like the look of the 00-02 better then the older one.
if doing a front end swap why didn you just get the 03ish front end? you had to buy fenders head lights corner lights and hood. 03 you would have probably spent the same amount of money.
With the body condition I personally wouldn't invest a dime into it and keep it as a daily driver at the least. Just speaking from experience. Add the money for bodywork, Eco swap, and you might as well have bought a newer J with an Eco and saved a lot of labor and expense. I admire what you want to do, but in all reality I think it's a poor choice.
i would not spend any more money on that shell. i have been buying Js up here for between 750-1000
the last one only needed front brakes for saftey.......
Well i do all my own work so i don't pay for labour and as for the eco swap its not going to happen.
