Well I have not had good luck this week with car projects! Got the trunk panel back from the body shop the other day and I am less than impressed. I tried a different shop from what I normally use this time around due to a recommendation, and I am regretting it. I guess its true, don't fix something that aint broke! 2 problems that caught my eye immediately. #1. -the white is a shade darker than the rest of the car. I'm guessing this is because the panel was black to start with. #2. -What really gets my blood boiling is at the top corner right close to the passenger side tail light, there are 3 good size fish eyes in the paint. I pointed these issues out, they will not fix it for me without charging me to repaint. I don't know what makes me more angry, the fact they won't fix the problem, or the fact that there seems to be no quality control at this shop. I break my back everyday to ensure high quality work, and customer service at my shop, I guess I expected these guys to be the same. Anyway long story short, I will be going back to my usual bodyshop in the spring to get the panel resprayed, the mirrors and handles sprayed and hopefully talk the guy into welding the spoiler and antenna holes. lesson learned!
So what do you think, was white a good choice or should I go back to black? I'm going to ponder this for days i'm sure!
I like it man, I say keep it white. From the pics I cant tell the paint difference. Ive had plenty of paint work to my car its its hard as hell to match white. Good luck man

White = not a good choice, makes the car look very plain IMO... different, but plain. The red brake parts look a little awful too...
That looks sexy nice work
looks great in the white..Maybe tint out the rear lens in some VHT..
looks good.. good luck on solving the paint issue though.. oh did you keyfob battery die? haha
thanks for the replies everyone! Believe it or not the tails are tinted, the camera flash really makes them look stock though. Not as dark as I want them to be so I got some more spray on order! Haha as for the key fob sticking out of the door, yes I need a new one! Oh and the red brakes will be going bye bye before spring, just never seem to have much time to work on the car. Put all my time into customers cars, but never get any for my own!
I think it looks great Chris! I can't wait to see it with the painted mirrors, handles and shaved spoiler. Keep it up.
Very Clean
Project Resurrection is in full swing!
hmmm.... thats nice! (handles too?)
Looks nice. I, like yourself, have a black lid to use, but don't know if I should paint it red to match the car.
