Long day of hybrid custom

Building a hybrid is a bitch but its fun Now its all up to the quality the machine shop did on the valve reliefs...of coarse I'll turn the engine by hand to double check clearance.

Well I got the wiesco pistons with custom valve reliefs in. ARP head stud in.

086 head modified to fit the Twin Cam...the trick is to dip the drill in oil and drill small holes to out line the shape.

OBX header ready for the Quad exhaust flange.

DAMN..it looks as though you're winning the race to be the first one up and running lol...

I'm still waiting to hear back from Karo about my custom head gasket

What are you doing for valve stem seals?

Also, what are you doing for a turbo?...have you been considering a Holset HY35, or HX 35?

Blow it with my air hose, send it to a machine shop to get cleaned as well.

I will run it N/A for a while until I add suspension, paint, and other things the car needs. Then low PSI of boost is down the road.

As for the valve stem seals....not sure...havent looked them up yet.

only thing i saw i dont like is the work you did on the head. i think a qualified machinist should have done that stuff. (no offense)

Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...

Yeah I know its not perfect but it doesnt have to be the same exact shape...as long as the hole is enlarged and it doesnt pass the border line its good. Plus I saved 100+ bucks doing it myself.

What are the specs on you pistons, and what headgasket are you using?

If you're going with anything thicker than stock, those valve pockets should suffice.

I bet it would. IIRC, the distance between the towers is the same.
