So, I've decided since I'm one of the few who don't have a progress thread, I'd start one. This is just a daily driver so it's not gonna get much but what the hell... Since I have a somewhat good start, here ya go :
This is the almost stock engine bay... only mods so far are a CAI and GM strut bar from a z24 vert:
These next few are some random exterior shots, from today after installing my new KAZERA Rims, which I bought from a local WIGM-tuners member yesterday:
New as of 3-12-09-- Custom bent 2.25" catback paired to a magnaflow straight-thru muffler:

So Yes, I know it needs to be lowered something awful. I got springs, but I need struts still, and I'm not using stock ones to lower it. What do you guys think so far?

its gettin there lol. clean the engine bay and some paint and it should be nice. evil eyes would be a nice touch also and please change up that intake. here is how my cheap one is set up

Yeah, I forgot to add that the intake is getting switched out to an AEM or maybe even an Injen... This eBay one looked nicer on the listing page than on my car lol. Not to mention, it does no good sucking in all the heat from the manifold ethier.

Its gonna get lowered next... 1.75" drop on goldlines, koni red struts. I like the rims, but hate the wheel gap. after that I'll probally upgrade the brakes just a bit since it needs them soon anyway...

Looking good Matt! You have the same idea as me about it being a daily driver. I am not looking to make my car a race car or a show car, I just want it to be a decent looking, handling, performing daily driver.
I can't wait to see it in person at a WIGM meet one of these days. Keep it up!

IMO just get some stock side skirts, and get new struts so you can lower it.
Good job doing the suspension right and not lowering on stock struts.
I really like the look, just do this and you're set.

Terry: I am satisfied with the tinted reverse lights, however they are not functional. I ran the wiring to the trunk and used the cavi ones, and I will be switching to a z24 rear cover when it gets a lil nicer!

But b4 I make any promises, let me dig them out (there's ALOT of sh!t in my garage) first and see if theyre still in good shape. Like I said awhile back, I do believe they're white in color.
