LD9 swap into an Eco car is the best.

^^^ HA HA HA HA nice one. Its cool putting the ld9 in the eco car...cuz the eco will be going back in when the ld9 spins that rod bearing and your tired of fixing it. Either way nice progress man. car is looking good.

^^^ eh... both engines have the 2.3 oil pump conversion. no spun rods bearings here.

My brothers dd has the ecotec.....

I wanted something that would get me down the track in a decent amount of time. I had the ho cams, ho mani, and 65mm throttle body so i said why not put the ld9 in. The one in my car doesnt have the 2.3 oil pump, but it will. If it does spin a rod, it give me a reason to put in some forged pistons and rods and throw a nice turbo on. So i am not worried.

Aside from the obvious.....j/k

I totally didn't expect there to be an ld9 in the newer cavi. I sat there laughing, thinking no way someone actually swapped in an ld9.

Its just not common to see a motor that stopped production before the vehicle its going in was even made. Plus, Id say about 90% of the swaps on this site are eco swaps.

And I dont see the "Turbo LD9" idi, does that mean you finaly sent it to me??
