I don't know if it's more "cleaner" just looks like you added more $#it in there. It looks nice though.

there's no room outside the car without wrecking the horns.

looks good, but looks beter in person lol

Re: New Trunk Set Up

^^^ there's plenty of room under the rear of the car for those horns.

and personally... IMO its not any 'cleaner' now than it was and IMO it looked better before.

I put my train horns where the washer fluid resevoir used to be. I eliminated it and mounted the horn there. I only have a dual horn setup not 4.... My second option was to mount them under the spare tire wheel well plenty of room there.

My horns are mounted under the car inbetween the spare tire well and the rear bumper, plenty of room. That's a big freaking tank, I'm running 2 7 gallons but have thought about switching to one big tank. Good work.

The word CUSTOM does not mean the Box is made for the application.

That 13W3 is not performing at all near to how it is desinged. If you were gonna make a box like that, why not save some money and get your sub from Walmart??

I think is why most people talk down on JL, they say it is overpriced and does not perform as well as others, well having the subs in boxes that won't let it perform will make it do that.

They make carpet GLUE so the staples would not have to be used.

Horns in the trunk?? MAKES absolutley no sense, unless you have them wired on a relay for your car alarm and they are to scare people who Break in.

C for effort, D- on the set-up.

Also, 2 compressors and no water trap?? Have fun cleaning the rusty water out of your tank.

Do you hit switches much? If so you are going to HATE the fill time of the 380's on a 12gallon. A friend of mine ran a pair of 480's on a 12 gallon last year, he ran out of air alot since the compressors couldnt keep up (granted he is an animal on the switches) so he picked up another pair of 480's for this year, on a seperate override switch, see how that works this year.

Plus 1 for ouch on the ears with air horns inside. Cut out the spare tire well (doesnt really look like you carry a spare tire anyway), weld in a plate and suddenly tons of room underneath

i was curious about the water trap too. good luck draining the tank every month with a battery right below it.

You didn't clean anything up as far as I can see. I think the first set up was quite clean. Your sub does not have enough airspace and the staples and horns make things look horrible IMO. You just cluttered up the trunk by adding as much as you could. And that sub is getting choked out hard.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.
