i cant find a pic anywhere, im looking for a picture of the back(exhaust side)of a ecotec motor with a autotransmission, would work perfect if it was a picture with the motor and trans out of the car need to see just how much space the auto trans takes up, but afraid i dont want to see....

It's for the turbo header brandon is workin on, I'd be willing to bet. Getting around the coolant tube from the water pump to the t-stat housing giving ya grief too?

viper is there anyway you can take a pic of the back of the motor square from the back so i can see how high the transmission comes up on the rear of the motor.

yea i built a header today for the eco but i think the runners go to low and would hit the trans... so might of built a manual trans header..... and yea that water neck deal on the back of the ecos. is just plain retarded big and in the way...

didnt you already build an auto header for jeremy? i realize it was for an ld9 but it also has that same water pump line back there.. just not in the same exact location.

basically what im getting at is any clearance givin for an ld9 w/ auto should be close to the same for an eco, shouldnt it?

Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...

send it to me and i will verify if it works for a manual and i will send it back in a timely manner, say 10 years or so? good luck with it. so instead of a bfh, a bfeh? gonna be sweet! would mean a whole new rework of my engine bay but you have me intrigued!

heres the pics

zyaaa- yea i made his header and it might work, but i wanted the intake side towards the driver side. if this header doesnt work ill just have to make anther and i think if i make the collector 3" instead of 4" and maybe rasie the turbo alittle higher.

vince. you wish bud and im unsure on name which is hold up with getting my llc. but i think im just going to go with FTS (fetter turbo systems)

that header looks really awesome.

This thing is so part of my next set of upgrades. As long as the slight changes Brandon and I have discussed in private can be made. He has assured me it would be quite simple to make the changes that I asked so I'm in for one of these as soon as the cash starts coming in again.
