What the car looked like up to yesterday:
No more blue on the cavalier...
No I didn't just primer them. I actually picked up a set of Coupe Mirrors to replace the Blue Sedan ones I have. Now they fit perfect.
Also Picked up some 2000 Toyota Tails. Gonna paint the Outers to match my 96-99 Toyota Inners. 02_RedBadged was gonna take the Inners but one got damaged.
Luckily I had no issue working out a deal with the person I bought them from and with a lil glue I should be able to put it back together without being able to notice it unless you're up close to it. And after only 4 years, finally got a shift boot.
And a preview of what the rear end will look like (just change everything thats Green to Black).

At this time, just digging into the engine to diagnose it. It's pissing Antifreeze out the overflow. After thats done, probably just a small drop, something like a pro-kit or s-techs.

Man that rear end looks familiar
cant wait to see the car when finished.
Well this weekend was a pleasant surprise. Friday night I got off my lazy ass and got a new overflow cap. Filled the coolant up and bled the system and took the car for an hour drive, no pissing coolant out the overflow and the temp gauge stayed right in the middle. Thankfully it was just the cap (which despite what everyone told me, i still doubt the two different styles are interchangeable).
So with the car running right again, I put the one piece headlights back on today...
Also removed my WIJ-Tuners and JBO decals and replaced them with WIGM-Tuners.org decals. Had a lil fun with the JBO one too.
Better pics later this week (once we have a day where we're not expected to get snow)

Gotta love Wisconsin... If it doesn't clear up this weekend my car stays in storage one more month.
Hope to see the car in person again soon. Maybe at some events this spring and summer.... Looks good

I made those grill inserts years ago out of some left over mesh I found in my dads garage... I just drove the Cavalier out to my parents tonight. I love the one piece projectors even more now after driving in the dark with them. Lost barely any visibility compared to stock, unlike the old projectors that i had where I was basically driving in the dark.
