Well I wanted to post up a picture of the graph, it's nothing impressive. Actually I'm kinda disappointed.

is that still w/ the reflash? that's a bad tune if so, that bogs way down on WOT.

Full mods: gmpp supercharger, intercooled, dual pass, devilsown alky injected m3 nozzle, pacesetter header modified for 3 inch collector merged to 2.5 downpipe, 2.5" magnaflow cat resonator, CTI 2.5" catback with large magnflow muffler no tip, 3.0" pulley about 12.5-13 psi with slightly ported blower. Stock kit injectors, stock fuel pump, stock regulator, stock clutch.

On with the graph (cookie for the person who spots the problem first, other than it leaning out real bad):

first thing... dyno dynamics is known as the 'heartbreaker' dyno. so thats why your numbers are lower than expected. compare your numbers to those of the ones at the 08 bash.

Screw cams, get that fuel system up to snuff 1st. What tune are you running? GM reflash or custom?

gm reflash, I think the fuel pump is starting to go bad, before the afr would hold at 10-1 now it leans out at high rpm. I have a racetronix pump to replace the stock one, so hopefully soon we'll see.

At 5252 rpm I have about 215 ft lbs of torque, yet max power is 189?

My actual max hp is about 225 based off of the torque readings.

Were they using the "tacho" or the roller tach? If not setup properly, this could be why... Also, it would be nice to see the HP/TQ chart. This may help explain more also....

I didn't get a print out of HP, but I believe they used the rollers to calculate rpm (dyno was also done in 3rd gear). It was a cobalt dyno day and they can't be hooked up for a tach signal from the engine.

Did they do a new roller tach for your car before they ran it? I'm starting to think your numbers are all bogus. Also, the Cobalts can be hooked up for a tach signal

(Tom) S/C Fire Your car is sweet dude. I'm loving your build. I can understand where you are coming from, putting so much into your car and doing all the right mods that compliment each other then getting a turn out that is way less then what you were expecting. But i'm pretty sure it's just the dyno. I don't know much about cars but I did a quick google search and you'll see that others have had the same results.

Also, If you were on a Dynojet , numbers would be 18% higher, so if they did set up the dyno correct for your car, the numbers would be around 223.02. I honestly think that the roller tach was off though.... (I have used a DD Dyno quite a bit ) I actually did all of the cars at the Bash last year...

I don't doubt you at all. Someone on the cobalt forums said it wasn't possible. Everyones numbers were low, a few of the new SS/TC cars tuned put out about 235 hp. Of the supercharged cars it averaged about 190hp.

These two threads should be of great intrest to you. I swear with both the 2.4 and the 2.2 supercharger reflashes there is a bunch to be had by tuning.

Thanks bro. It's not slow by any means, really it's interesting when you tell people it makes 189 hp.

Oh, I've read both threads countless times and posted a lot in the second one. I have hp tuners, struggling with getting it to run right.
