I've decided to make an ls clone out of my 2000 2.2 base (although lame, what can i say i got hit with the bug) It started off with buying z24 rims, now i want ls sport.
In retrospect I prob should have just saved the extra cash and bought an ls sport, but this is a lot more fun!
Im getting a paint job within the next couple weeks and i thought id share my experience. I only have a few more parts to pick up
have: z24 bumper with ls front lip
z24 wheels (although i do need to replace one
02 z24 trunk with spoiler
needed: ls sport rear lip (truly hard to find)
z24 skirts
ls exhaust tip
future 2"drop (haven't decided on what spring yet)
lowering strut (again i haven't decided on which one yet)
possible ecotec swap with turbo set up
if their is anything i have left out please let me know (im shaving emblems)
here's how she sits today
-not mc lovin the 4X4 look
front bumper with a tapped on ls sport lip (dusty)
trunk with spoiler
i don't know why but i've seen a lot of cavaliers with chipping paint where the door meets the rear quarter (im guessing its from rocks, but ive installed mud flaps....its still been chipping) anyone know a cure for this? i would hate to get my back painted just to find it chipping again
scratches and a dent in the trunk
just a quick crop- this is just an idea of how i would like it to look with a 2" drop.

Im almost doin the same, I love my 02 LS (not sport) and I aint got no rust, but then again, mine came with flaps so idk..
fbody guy had a rear lip in our regional forums i believe... dont know if he still has it

yea mine came with mud flaps as well, even when i put on bigger ones it still chipped. Im hoping if i rubber guard the rockers and put z24 side skits, it will help cure the problem. Either that or avoid all dirt roads and rocks, lol
Oh and I like your taste, yours is a four door though right? Silver ls sport,Im guessing its not the most original, but hey its what I want!
