But I figure I should post some up of the work I've done recently.
Pretty much the usual looking Sunfire. I'm on a tight budget, but graduating this month, so hopefully a real job is in order soon! The work I've got done to the car:
MD-LD9 Lightweight Pullies
Bill and Stans Header & Cat
Full 2.5 Piping
Fidanza Flywheel
Spec 2 Clutch
Overkill Engineering Motorsports Solid Mounts
Lowered on Eibach Sportlines
Tokico D-Spec Struts
I'm taking the car to the track for the first time in over a year and I'm hoping for a 15 flat. I ran a 15.3 before the pullies and suspension and that was when it was 80* outside. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Here's some pics:

I'm happy with the way it turned out. I'm debating on whether or not to take out the 0.75" spacer on the rear to give it a little bit more drop. Maybe when I get some free time.
I've spent all of this year working on our SAE Baja car for the University of Wisconsin - Stout. I was the head drivetrain engineer this year and my big project was designing a new double reduction gearbox. Here some pictures of that:
I'm the only one not smiling on the right! Haha I don't know why I was the only one not smiling. I don't have any more updated pics on the transmission. Maybe when it's finished I'll post them up.
Anyways C & C welcome.
good stuff man. cant wait to hangout sometime soon. i should be up in MN over the summer.
Lovin that drop, Ive been debating getting the OEM mounts, but since you have the same setup (D Specs/ Sportlines) as I will and it looks great, Im ready to get me a set.
Godd luck on finding a good job, keep my fingers crossed for ya.
definitely a very nice and quality suspension you put on there. good job.
how does it ride and handle?
be careful with that fidanza flywheel the best you can. sometimes they hold up and sometimes they dont.
I'm tired of wasting my time... now I'm breakin' free.
Thanks for the compliments guys.
The ride isn't too bad. Just when you go over a bunch of rough bumps at slow speeds is kind of abusive. Other than that it doesn't ride that bad. The handling is amazing compared to the stock setup. I haven't driven anything other than this setup, but I love it. I feel so much more confortable driving on the roads knowing I can make sharp turns without losing control.
As for the flywheel. I've had it one for 15 months now and haven't had any problems. The clutch/flywheel does vibrate when about 3k rpm, but I can't really complain about it.
