well she is done. some will notice a diffrent fuel rail since the last pics. the fmu failed on me so i went back to the stock fuel system but with the 42lb injectors for now till i can get a new fmu. i rebuilt the original fmu but i just don't trust it, all that was left to do on the car was get the exhaust connected and then get it to the paintshop to work on the battery tray area and repaint it. i was driving it on low boost until the new fmu came in or i had a better tune put in. and coming home from the exhaust shop enjoying the quiet exhaust for the first 20 seconds, i get it up to speed and the car slips out of gear and goes bascially into neutral. i pulled over. stopped, looked things over and everything seems fine, i get it back out on the road and it slips out of gear again on me. so i try to limp it home going from parking lot to parking lot as it slips in and out of gear. i ended up having to have a flatbed come bring me the last 3 miles to the house. talk about being dissapointed. i checked the fluid, its fine, i checked my iat it seems fine, i got a new vss sensor to put on but other then that and talking with a few gm techs, they feel its my torque converter which means the tranny has to come out of the car.
Now since the turbo was an unplanned purchase i put it on the credit card, something i dont like to do, ever. so im not going to get a new tranny until the turbo is done and paid for and since i have to pull the tranny out i want to go ahead and get an lsd for it since its coming off anyway. and so ive just decided to call it quits for the year on the car. its still going to come to the bash because i promised it would be there so im going to trailer it there and back, and once it comes back from that weekend the motor is getting yanked out of the car and im redoing the entire engine bay the way i origonally wanted to do it. redoing all the wiring and hoses and shaving the firewall and relocating more stuff. car will probably sit on jackstand for the next year or so as i slowly work on it. so now on to the pics.

intercooler- i think you should cut the support a tad so it can sit up higher. that way it will fill up the bumper better.
the oil feed line coil looks really tacky. if you can, try and get it stuck down some or even have one made to be the correct length.

yeah i'll end up getting a shorter oil feed line, thats just the one i had. i wanted to get the turbo on and the car running before i went back and started to really clean things up. same goes for the intercooler. the charge lines were allready fabbed up from when aaron had them so i was limited to wear i could mount the intercooler. future plans if the car ever gets back on track call for a larger intercooler to be mounted in front of the core support to fill the opening with new polished charge lines.
