Ok this was happening just around the corner from my first post a few days ago so here is the conversion to dual exhaust I was planning also. All in all I am happy with the outcome here. Many might wonder why I didn't get bigger tips but really after 2 stops and one ticket for exhaust, low key was the goal. I think I will also spray bomb to flat black for more stealthiness. I reviewed a bunch of pics of others with this mod and it's next to impossible to tuck the muffler away out of sight due to the spare cavity. The shop did it's best and I think it came out great.

Not bad, thats the only cav rear Id put duals with.

Black out that muffler for sure!! Looks good Joel!

is it just me or does the passenger side one angle more towards the ground? also fix that rear bumper

Actually debated going no chrome tips at all and blacking it all out but will go with this and the muffler and pipes except the tips blacked out. I'm so so on the tips. The pipes are pretty straight actually but the angles play games with the eye. LOL ... you had to spot the bumper! Man I spent hours trying to get the damn type j wave out and I ended up shoving a strip of plastic between the impact beam and the bumper to get it semi flat. That's it, I',m not doing anymore with it lol.

looks fine to me.

Muffler black....tips chrome. Done. I expect to see this tomorrow night

What was your old setup and what did you do with it?

^^^ Darren, Dale's Service Centre just up from my house on Falconbridge did the work. The only shop that wasn't a 2 week wait or didn't look at me like I had 3 heads for wanting to put duals on a Cavalier ... lol. The Vibrant system got hacked up. The piping to the axle stayed and is blended into this set up. The muffler is for sale on Kijiji.
