I thought I would post some updates so far on the both cavs.. Im hoping to have front tires done before this thurs. even Shawn's C5s front tires done too. I have to finish a few things on the red one before I can take the highway trip on thurs night and to JCO show on saturday. Beside that, I just picked up some RKS coilcovers, installed the rears already on the 02 silver cav and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! stock struts on sportlines sucked balls! Im real happy how it rides right now but havent put on the fronts yet. till im ready to get alignments done on it.

Well its no big deal.. its only stock 2200 with BM shifter.. WW Avenger and RKS coilcovers is only good about it. its beaten on and the body needs lot of TLC and some repaint.
But yeah its a nice and cheap and reliable daily driver for sure.

yea im have thoughts of getting a cheap sedan to make my daly. plus i have enough extra parts laying around to make it looks decent.. but would be really nice to let my vert rest more often.. lol
sounds good.. do it! or pick up another coupe instead lol, I could nto stand driving a stock cav. I gotta drive one with an attitude!

can't wait to see it again buddy. get some new tires on! but don't wear them out on the way home...unless you pick up more chicks on the way home
yeah man, I should have my solid OEM front mounts here sometime this week. should have them installed before the gm bash. I believe they will help alot on the tires wear too!
and chicks dig them too!

i had taken the fire to the alighnment shop and had him find at what height my car was level at alignment wise. for me it was 26" from the top of the fender lip to the ground, so now when i go on longer trips i just check each wheel with a tape to make sure im at the right height and since then i have worn down any tires.
i can't wait to see this thing for the first time as well at the bash man.

Vince, I wish I can bring both.. but its not possible. unless someone wants to come and pay the gas and drive it for me.

installed Stebel Nautilus horn.. last 2 weekends. thought I would show.
relocated cruise control box...
a shot of the silver one.. front coilcovers still havent been installed yet.
finally OEM mounts arrived today.. and new Baer front caliper brackets, at first they sent me a wrong side so they sent me another one for free.
Tires tomorrow!!!!!!

wait you can buy just the brackets?
yeah you can they re just stock Corvette C4 brackets. but you will need to customize the knuckles to make them to work.
