Whadda think?

I got a tripod for my birthday and tried a few night shots. These three are the ones i like the best.

So whadda think? Any tips? I didnt do any editing to them. Also the car is at "ride height".

look good to me. pics are a little dark but not bad. wouldn't need much editing if you did any! last picture, that light is pretty bright so makes it hard to see the car. maybe try taking picture away from the light and using the light onto the car for a good pic. Nice shots though!

nice pics.
i just got a tripod as well and it makes the pics come out so much cleaner by eliminating the un-steadyness of your hands lol

looks good...only advice I can think of is try to shoot with the light source (ie the street lamps) preferably behind you or at least off to the side of the camera.it will help significantly reduce the glare and brighten up the actual car a bit

Nice.

I like my tripod, makes it soo much better.

What size wheel/tire you got on there?

Wheels: 16x7.5 w/ 35mm offset
Tires: 205/55R16

Thanks for the advice, i'll play with car placement in the future.

The camera is a Sony Cybershot DSC-W120.

Keep playing with your settings dude, you'll get it, I have made PITCH black scenes, look like the middle of the day, here are a few examples..

Are you still on air? I thought I read somewhere you may be getting rid of it?

get the car closer to the light source, and then you'll be set!

yes they are a bit too dark, not sure if you are shooting with a digital slr but if you are and you can change the settings, try shooting in manual and use a longer exposure time.... you have to figure out what settings work for you and your lens... just keep playing around with different setting and you should get something good. If you can change your ISO setting try not too shoot with such a his ISO setting.
