as a parts car thats not too bad

its not that bad... looks way worse then it really is i bet.. but mabe a little less would be better. the kit and air ride make up for more then half of his asking price.

i think it could be a good project if you picked it up...spent some time on the paint... paint it...then the outside will look loots better.
inside is trash...needs panels and all...but if you were gonna go all out anyways? fiberglass or w/e... might as well...
for the condition of the car as is... no... 3500 is a joke...
maybe if everything was immaculate!

i think you need to think about what you just typed.

interior is stripped, of course it looks like crap.. comes with a New carpet kit, the rk kit is close to 1k new, the air ride is most likely over 1k. the hood is what 400? and if its true, that the motor has been rebuilt and drives great then the car would be a good 2k around here.

I emailed him about parting it out if it doesnt sell. I want the hood. The way it sits I wouldnt pay more then 2500 for it. Also I wonder how long its been sitting for.

yea 2500 i think would be ok... i paid to 2o00 for my kitted silver 02 z24 and i actually came out on top after parting it out.. and still kept the suspension and the hood

It looks a little like Ryans Sunfire..... It all adds up close, but not quite 3500. But of course, wouldnt you want to try to get a little extra if you were selling? =P

One thing you have to remember is no car will ever sell for anything near the sum of it's aftermarket parts. This one is especially ridiculous due to the fact that the car can't even be purchased and registered, because so much of it is torn apart. It's a Sunfire, not a classic that's going to be worth more once it's finished.

In the condition of that car, I'd say it's not going to sell for much over $1500. He would be better parting it

That is too much money for somebody elses vision. If that is the look you are looking for, then go for it, but if you are going to be changing 50% of the car to make it your own, then pass.

At least that one is something you can buy, register, and drive, and it's $2K less. $3500 for a "project" J is just plain stupid.
