Been searching around for ppl to paint my bumper and side skirts for me but everyone was asking WAY too much just to paint them. i already had them sanded and wet sanded and preped and shops around here were wanting $400 to paint them. i had the paint already bought. anyways, i decided to just paint them myself and see how they turned out! first 3 pics showing just a few process pics. didnt get to take many pictures b/c the bugs start getting bad at sunset and i didnt wany any stuck in the paint. 4th picture is finished product. havent buffed or wet sanded the bumper or side skirts yet so they still look a little dull. but you can see the gloss in the black on the bumper. let me know what you guys think? getting front wings west lip soon!

Should have taken it off. Not hard to do plus its cleaner, less masking, less over spray, and it wont chip as easy.

yea i wanted to take it off to do it but all my friends were at work and i had the day off and wanted to get it done before the show this weekend here in hsv. but only reason i didnt take it off is b/c on the passenger side the two bolts inside the fender well from inside the trunk. well whoever had the car before me must have taken the bumper off b/c when i took the base bumper off and put the LS bumper on, the plastic plate that has the little rivet that pops in the bumper and piece that the screws actually screw into was broken. only way to get the bumper to stay up is reach up inside the bumper and hold the plate and get someone else to start the bolts for it to pull the bumper up right to the fenderwell. so that is the reason didnt take it off. but when i get money again for the front lip and get ready to paint it, the bumper and side skirts will come off and be painted right and by a shop so it matches. no imperfections at all! just not as glossy as rest of the car, but i was surprised at how good it turned out for rattle can spray paint and some rattle can clear. thanks for checking it out!

paint work looks great ill be honest there. good job. love the car. love the white. but. just an FYI. 400 is nothing. when i got the z kit for my old car they wanted 1400. i then supplied 600 in materials and 300 in labor to a nother shop and thats what it ended up costing me. now i can do it myself since im working in a body shop. but yeah. 400= nothing haha.
