i am going to miss the kit, but i had my reasons for selling it

anyways here is a last picture of the car with the kit



and just some random pictures of the day









i have some sides that i still need to paint and need to find some lips for the stock bumpers and the whole thing needs a good cleaning

and here is the ultimate fail


ya the bright one that painted the car decided to paint it with the door mouldings on, if i would have known that sooner i would have probably changed my mind on selling it, but i did find some silver ones on a sunfire at the wreckers for 5 bucks so i hope they work well

and the lucky person that got such a great deal on it




but i am looking forward to making it more of my own

i still loved the old kit but not a fan of the exhaust

Can't wait to see you do something with the car. Eventhough as much as you hated people saying it, it was still Borg's whip. But I think that grip is finally broken now and I can't wait to see what you do. You always kept the car clean and nice, so I expect good things to come on back shortly.

Could you do me a favor and smash that dudes tails out with a 3lb sledge? Those atrocities have gotta go.

we had a talk about the tails, he is changing them real soon to what i am sure you guys will all like

and yes the exhaust is going to this tomorrow afternoon


but here is a small update



and as you can see in the shot with the muffler there are some stock zed sides that i am going to paint tomorrow and put on, just untill i can find a set of 03's

and then i will be on the hunt for some lips

Fixed.

Heinous mods will be pointed out. Those tails are a fail. They remind me of a Cavalier in Portland, ironically of the same color, that had that chrome door edge sh!t on every seem of the car. I am not exaggerating, either. The hood, trunk, doors, tail lights, and wheel wells had that sh!t outlining them.

The other thing on that car is the rear quarter windows. What the hell is with the plastic 3D things on them?

not a fan.

and i absolutely hate body kits.

Whens the car getting repainted.. Since you want your "own" look you better get rid of the hankook orange and silver on there...

^^ the car was actually originally silver. Borgs had the orange and black painted on there.

Yep.

IMO, which is ONLY my opinion....

Repainting the entire car along with keeping the body kit & wheels would have significantly, if not COMEPLETELY reduced the rememberance of it

"being borgs old car". Even though you took the body kit & wheels off in favor of others, this car's "paint scheme" will ALWAYS remind

people that it "was" borgs old car.

So I suggest you paint it some other color(s) if you want to escape the shadow of "Borgs".

Once again, just my OPINION, so don't get your panties in a knot....

They are stick on pieces, I have them on my car... i like them...

i actually do want to paint it, unfortunately with having a baby the money has just not been there (part of the reason i sold the kit) especially when i only make 12 bucks an hour

but paint is in the future, just how far in the future i dont know yet

and i was thinking about sunfire GT sides as well, and i know someone with a silver GT i just hope they dont come up to high in the front and cover up the orange

Carey I dont think the GT sides will cover the orange, IIRC they dont go up that far

They would look nice, but a cleaner sideskirt like the 03-05 cav would look good too.

You really dont want to drill into the doors on your car to fit the door skins do you?

in one afternoon, a beautiful car was destroyed, now only a mere shell of its former beauty.

and those door sills look completely out of place.

i would use 2 sided tape to stick them on, there is no way i would drill the holes

but the other thing i was wanting was 03 sides so we will see


the car is at the exhaust shop right now and i am working on some zed sides and it also has a lip now so there will be an update soon
