I have been acquiring pictures for this very thread for quite a while now so here they are finally in no particular order:
2000 – 2002 Sunfire SE (owned by a young guy):
“Modifications” include: huge black body graphics, huge flat black spoiler, flat black stick on hood scoop, ugly chrome wheels, APC stickers! and red painted calipers and drums.
I have not seen this car again since these pictures were taken back in March. The kid must have been visiting the area or he got rid of the car because he realized how ridiculous it looked.
1996 Sunfire SE (owned by a young guy):
This car used to belong to my friend than the engine went and he sold it. Now it’s owned by a young kid who lives down the block from me so unfortunately I see it a lot more than I care to.
“Modifications” include: a molded roof scoop, cut stock springs, two wheel covers, a huge spoiler, Retro 3D taillights and a loud annoying fart can.
What it looked like a few years ago when my friend owned it:
What it looks like now:
1995 – 1999 Sunfire GT (owned by a young girl):
“Modifications” include: an oversized, ugly spoiler and very ill fitting front bumper.
It started out looking like this last spring/summer:
Next, it looked like this:
Than she got in an accident so it looked like this:
Currently, it looks like this:
2003 – 2005 Cavalier (owned by a young girl):
“Modifications” include: nice wheels, huge black ECOTEC stickers on the doors, huge white flame graphics, a huge Supra wannabe spoiler and a fart can.
2000 – 2002 Cavalier (owned by an older guy):
“Modifications” include: formerly a nice looking body kit, formerly 3-spoke wheels and currently neon green tape holding the corners on and a ’95-’99 conversion
.
What it used to look like:
What it looks like now:
1995 – 1999 Cavalier (owned by a young guy):
“Modifications” include: a whole @!#$load of stick on “chrome” yo! Auto Zone FTL!
There seems to be a lack of taste wiith those cars, i did like the orange color though, reminds me of the one gm prototype sunfire
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
Yeah, I always thought if the orange Sunfire had a decent looking/fitting body kit and no spoiler or even stock bumpers and no spoiler it would actually look nice, but alas that chick must really think that @!#$ spoiler and ugly ass front bumper look good. Damn kids
.
most of those suck. i like the looks of the orange sunfire tho. ditch the spoiler and get some sideskirts that flow with the front and i think itd look really good.
wowsers those are some nasty j's there! Its almost embarrassing to look at those pics haha! I guess being that most of those cars have young owners, they must still be going through that phase of modding where every add on in the walmart auto section looks cool. Atleast I hope thats the reasoning for those j body disasters!
ECOtec
PFFT secret cams?! pm me if you want a real upgrade.
ya my town def is up to par with urs. i love it....
Yep, it's pretty bad around here guys
. The maroon Cavalier is actually owned by a guy who's in his 40s+ so he doesn't have an excuse at all.
i'm so buying a huge autozone spoiler now!

Haha, thats about the extent of the local J's around me too. Although I saw a nice black 00-02 stock Cavalier dropped about 2 inches and sitting on some nice chrome 18's today, actually a very clean car. Female owned too, it had a pink front plate. lol

There is one decent looking silver '00-'02 Cavalier around. It has a decent looking body kit (until she cracked the rear bumper) and wheels. It's owned by a younger girl. I will try and get a picture of it tomorrow after work.
yeah.....there's really no "J" scene around me,most people just use them for what they were-grocery getters, which is ok,until i see some 16 year old cruise around with a fart can on thinking he's fast.the only other modded j i've ever seen out here is gorgeous though,2004 red coupe-carbon fiber trunk, hood, fenders, nice sleek looking car
haaaaaaahahaha gotta love the overspray on the headlight! lmao
It was also on the tail lights, on the door frame, on the limited edition emblem, everything! I think they even tried spraying the wheel itself..
I'm not going anywhere just yet

Oh, the humanity? Is this what happens to affordable economy cars, with crappy resale values, that haven't been produced in 4 years?...I never thought I would never see the day?!
Ashallee (Deviant Isis) wrote:Lmao, those cars are horrible, but I agree the orange one isn't that bad, I saw the J today parked out in front of Walmart, it was dark so it's hard to see but the entire body is done in blue and black spray paint, and the back right tired is messed up, seriously. Other then that, it's stock.
Wow! Glad to see it's not just around here
. That poor Cav is horrible looking. If you notice in the first picture of the orange Sunfire in my post, it has orange overspray on the front passenger side wheel
. People... if you insist on using spray paint you could at least wipe any overspray off
. Again I say... damn kids!

If you got rid of the graphics it would just be a stock GT with the RK Sport spoiler. Not bad at all IMO.
