yes my car needs to be dropped still and its pretty much stock but i like it so far (it's my daily driver)
its drag wars up in Grande Prairie AB this weekend so this morning i got up at 7:30 ran out grabbed some wax and some more microfibre cloths
Then i washed it at the carwash
Products i used:

2nd - Mother's Scratch Remover (this is ok for light scratches)
3rd - "Royal Purple" Rim/Chrome polish

Interior:
5th - Mother's Protectant (smells good and makes everything shiny)
6th - Turtle Wax Oxy power foam upholstery cleaner (worked really good i had spilled latex paint on the back passenger carpet had to scrub ALOT)

Pretty clean. Usually I'm not a fan of chrome wheels, but I actually like the style of them. I'd like to see it bagged.

Overall pretty nice looking. Needs a drop, and eyelids put on the hood. I'd also lose the blue on the door panel, and go with blacking out the side markers instead of the silver, but I like where some of it is going. Chrome wheels look best on black or silver cars IMO, so nice choice.

yea agree with the hood and the drop... ive only had it a year and a half so slowly working on everything...my main interest is audio just got that setup in few weeks ago still need to make it more "aesthetically pleasing" and clean up the wires etc. but i tossed it in for drag wars for the sound comp.
but my front 6.5 comp. speakers blew (warranty) and i have one 6x9 left so getting a new Mid setup possibly making some back 6.5 pillar pods or something (instead of rear deck 6x9's)
and the blue was kinda of a "well my floor mats are blue but i have nothing else blue and i hated the stock color... i was thinking black but then again same scenario... would like to get rid of the fabric all together eventually

Nice looking car! Another Alberta member too, thats cool. Nice job on the paint, pretty shiny! Time consuming though eh? I am doing a 3 stage power polish on my sunfire and I have got over an hour in just on the roof! The car will be sitting in my shop for days I imagine. Anyway good job and keep it up.

Nice! Were you in the stands at Drag Wars for King of the Street? I ended up going to watch with my dad (mom and wife were uninterested, and wife just got a needle in the foot, so walking around was out of the question), but we left at about 8 PM because the weather got bad, and neither of us had the good sense to bring a jacket.

Lol, didn't miss too much. No one in this town knows how to drive worth a damn apparently. Some sad 1/4 mile times from some good cars.

I can't believe you have never posted pictures on here until now Nikki !

Mother's FTW! I spent about 6 hours yesterday detailing the Vibe using Mother's products . In place of the Mother's Scratch Remover I highly suggest Nu Finish Scratch Doctor. It's kind of pricey, but it's amazing at removing scratches, oxidation, etc. I apply a coat of Scratch Doctor followed by a coat of Mother's Liquid Caranuba Wax. I have found that's all you need to make silver look absolutely amazing.

Well, you already know what I think of the car . Hopefully your package will arrive this week and you can post pictures of that too . I'm really sorry the dash pad didn't work out. Damn thing is just too big to go that far I guess. It would have probably gotten totally destroyed anyway so it's probably better this way. You can always get the one from the junkyard .

Keep up the great work girly! Oh... thanks for making me miss my Sedan .

Very nice choice on the W7 in the HO box and the 1000/1 amp. Great combo there. Just spend a lot of time and attention to tuning and building a good front stage off that PDX amp and you will love it. Let me know if you ever have questions on audio, so happy to help someone who seems to have started off right!

NOW the typical negative @!#$ in P&M section lol... hate stick on eyelids and chrome wheels. But if you like em, it's your car and rock on. HUGE kudos from me on the audio though

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Hey chikki! yea i know i haven't posted pics until now....i just was kinda snoopin on everyone elses stuff lol
I like the mothers products 2 lol i looked at the scratch doctor 2 im like well i like mothers stuff so ill try this one lol but it worked ok i have lots of scratches my dad ran into the drivers side bumper and scuffed it and then some one at work backed into it and scuffed again lol and then dumb people "dooring" it lol
yea i can't wait to get the bezel in woot woot
yea the dashpad would have got totally destroyed lol so its all good but i have a guy gonna look at the junkyards for me and see if he can get a newer sunfire or cav that has a bigger engine that i can use for a parts car

The Scratch Doctor works great for scuffs, scratches, etc. I had a small scuff mark on the lower passenger side fender and the Scratch Doctor took it right off. Like I said, it also removes oxidation which is good, especially for older paint like yours.

You better get that bezel installed quick because I want to see it in there! I got it all set for you. When I had it installed in my car, I had used some crappy double sided adhesive stuff that came with it. It didn't hold worth a damn so I bought some 3M double sided tape and put a whole @!#$load of it on the backside of the bezel so that thing won't be moving at all now . I also shined up the bezel itself with some metal polish and cleaned the cluster cover all up. I taped everything up with painter's tape so it will be ready to go right into the car when it arrives . Enjoy!

haha yea i kno the eyelids are cheesy but im eventually gonna get an actual hood just working on funds right now i think im gonna do custom headlights from John
i like my rims its all about shiny rims here in Gp lol either that or big lifted trucks....there simple enough that they aren't too crazy love JL Audio tho just with that setup and no line driver or anything i hit 141.4DB today in a DB drag which was my first comp. but i was def pleased with that score! my mids are all jl's 2

id keep the stock hood and just weld in the eyelids. one of the better decisions i made with mine versus going with an aftermarket hood. id pull the rear piece off your trunk and just have it smoothed and painted, the cover painted to match just looks out of place. a deep drop and youlle be looking real nice. other then that its not looking to bad. better then allot you see on here.

Thnx p.s. LOVE YOUR CAR lol
Yea i have a trunk that has no spoiler sitting in my shed i took off the trunk bezel off of it too
gonna get a quote on how much it would be to get it painted etc. cuz i have no skills when it comes to that
(i met somebody a couple weeks ago that does GOOD painting/bodywork for cheaper) so im gonna get him to eventually do it and maybe paint the whole car as well
