Finally picked up a set of toyota tail lights. Love the way they look
After my accident with my passenger side skirt I was looking for some new sides, the guy I bought the lights from had these at his house from the cav he had bought from a friend on here(for some stupid reason I cant remember brians screen name OOPS lol). He didnt want them laying around his house anymore so he gave them to me and said If I like them cool if not sell them or throw them away.
I wasnt sure about the type J sides until i set them upto my car and I really do like them now.

hell, i like the type j on there.. they seem to fit real well with the aggressiveness with the splitters on the front and seems to line up with the rear nicely.. i dig it man. love it. love the tails too, waiting for the played out comments of toyos, but you cant go wrong with em.
i love this car.. just wish someday we could get actual good pics of it

It was listed on craigslist as storage. But we got it to work on cars and do side jobs out of. Moved the compressor and tools over there today. Its only about 5 minutes from my house

i like the flow from the bottom of the sides, to the bottom of the rear! good work!
.....i think to change up the look alittle in the back. u should paint the black around the tails to blue! either way, HOTT!

I usually hate type J sides, but for some strange reason, I think they work on your car....

im mixed on the type j's
i like because of the low lines of the car. but the part that throws me off is the rear 1/4 part. its high and agressive, where the rear looks less agressive. id have to see it in person to really decide. then steal the car and look at it for a while and possibly return it...
you just need the door moldings for the type j's just to finish them off.

SORRY!!!! LOL Actually brian those arent your old tails. Ryan kept those on his sedan. He picked these ones up from anoher kid whos local about a year ago

but it wasn't the photographers fault, i know that sort of lighting he is fighting with and it kills anything. Quite a few would of be amazing had lighting been better. maybe next time! lol and i hope so cuz i'm still diggin this new look more and more
toyos look prety good on there, i could usually care less about them, but they seem to blend in with the car. the j sides i like but do something with the door striker piece, it doesnt work without it, id look at cutting the door strikes to about 1/4 -1/3 of there stock lengthe so there nice and short but still give the piece a finished look. and wont be so long that it takes away from the lienes of the car.

I'm liking the type-j sides and toyo tails! Can't wait to see what you have in store over the winter.
sndsgood: Good idea with the strikers. I'll have to see what I can do. Probably cut them down till they start to get smaller. My only thought is when I cut them how will the ends look.
Mr kleindl: I agree with the clean look the BC2 sides have. I've just never been completely happy with the look of them, always felt they where lacking something with how aggresive the front is. With the J's on there I'm finally happy with how the car looks
