Finally got a chance to look at the video. That engine bay really came out great, too bad i'm not big on engines or I would drop the car off to you and let you have your way with it.

i know its been a long time since ive been on and well to say the least ive had a lot of stuff going on. its been about 2 months or so since i last logged on here. last time i touched the car before last week was back in august or sept i think. scott and i went back and forth on trying to find out why the car wouldnt start then i was on a hunt for a older harness. well after about a month i got the harness,i then just needed to go to scotts to take out the one previously in it.
well between then and last few weeks i had been busy and stuff and sorta lost interest in the car. i dunno if it was a combination of just being overwhelmed with other stuff and not driving the car since may. or if it was i just burnt myself out from working on it for 4 straight years. either way when i was ready to work on it we realized that the fuel rail harness disconnects from the older harness rather than being apart of it like the 00 harness' was. well the harness i received didnt have it so i went on the hunt for another part.luckily brad ,zyaaa, had one and shipped it to me and it worked. then i needed different injectors but surprisingly scott had some i could use. so last week i yanked out theolder one and put in the newer one without cutting any wires and changed ecms. whatya kno,it started right up then died and the theft light flashed like it originally should have. we let it sit and then turned it on etc and it started and STAYED on. so all we hav to do now is modify the throttle body bracket and install my headlights and then we can possibly start to break her in
im very happy that its runnin somewhat and its so close now. i got some of my interest back after hearing it fire up,however i plan on going back to school sometime soon and the car will be put on the back burner til i can take care of some things. i do plan on doing other stuff like redoing some things in the interior but for now the car is pretty much done.ill be trolling around the site and stuff every now and then and may get the mod bug again.for now it though i just need to get it runnin. thanks for all the help everybody has given me and for all the compliments on it. its running open header right now so the new exhaust will be welded on shortly. thanks!

felt the exact same way this year. my car never left the garage from roughly april till just a few weeks ago. now that its running again and the turbo setup is tuned for the most parts its more fun again. still going to try and sell it but at least i can take it out.

thanks ben. thats prolly the most sincere comment youve ever given me haha. i wouldnt say im back in it but after hearing it started again im starting to fall in love with it again. she'll be making some appearaces here and there but not as often.

quick update**
so weve got everything almost buttoned up but as it seams the way my luck always is,theres always something coming up to keep me from finishing. so i found out today that my ballast on my hid crapped out. 1 of them is just not working right so the hids have to come out and the stock h1 bulbs will have to go in. now if i can only find where i put the original plug and h1 bulb
