We got two feet of snow in a day and a half. Fun stuff.
It's been two days since the end of it, and the roads still suck. I guess that's just VA for you.

If you live on the wrong end of VA, that's VA for you.
I don't mind snow, I just don't like alot of it at once.
I went to Walmart last night and as we were leaving the parking lot, the guys car in front of my got stuck and was spinning tired in the slush and ice, so I got out with another random guy and pushed his car for a good ten minutes before he finally sped forward. I get back in my car, only to find out that now I'm stuck. They plowed the snow once, and felt like they were done, even the roads were sh!tty. But, oh well, I'm moving to Florida

I realized that after I posted my reply, after that point it was quite obvious.
I just finished shoveling my driveway, and that was ridiculous. Looks like I have a tsunami entering my driveway on either side because of the pile of snow. I may have to take your slushie idea sounds yummy, assuming all the snow isn't brown...or yellow.

wow that sucks... weve had barely any snow over here on the other side of the border...
North Carolina FTW! We dont get hurricanes. And it doesnt snow much. Well, not here in Charlotte anyway. It perfect almost all year round.
Being a a former resident of Florida, I can tell you hurricanes suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkkkk!!!
send some up this way, i could handle having 2 feet of snow
we have had 1 crappy storm that was followed by rain
so we have icy snow and grass still
I used to live in CT, and I loved the hurricanes when we got them, and the snow sucked still. I thought moving to VA would get rid of some of the snow, but it didn't.
I was considering moving to NC, because you get a bit of both worlds, snow every now and again and even a hurricane every now and again. I just have to convince my fiance to move with me

We got 18-20" here in Rhode Island, some of the snow drifts in the parking lot over here were 3 feet high.. Crazy for a night of snow.
I live on the eastern shore of maryland and we got 2 feet or more too. It was a whole lot for one storm. took a good 2 days to clear all the roads and lots of them still have slush. Go figure I bought some performance summer tires cus it never snows more than a days worth.
we had 10inches of snow here in NC, not the 2 feet you got...when I lived in harrisonburg, va I remember getting 3 feet in a weekend I think that was back in 2003.

Yea, that's where I live now.
You didn't go to JMU did you? I can't stand them at all. Driving around, with snow on the ground with a bunch of stuck up college kids who think they own the world?
Most of the snow is melting away pretty fast, so I don't think it would stick around for long, But, we are supposed to get snow on the 25th-26th too, again. At least it'll be a white christmas.

I live in Stafford VA, my car was completely covered. Couldn't even see it
But I was out almost every day, I like driving in the snow.

I went to Bridgewater College for my B.S. and I did take some classes at JMU for a minor.
Bridgewater is a nice college, very quiet. I'm currently going to Blue Ridge, and Weyers Cave didn't get hit with the snow at first, so I was there when it started snowing, and the drive back to town, sucked.

No snow in GA ever. People in GA run to the store for water and bread when they see a flake of snow fall.
its funny.

snow just sucks. in any amount, period.
