So as much as i LOVED my walmart exhaust tip (the same great place that supplies those wonderful turbo badges that we all love so much on our N/As) I got around to having a Magnaflow cat back installed with custom bent 2.5 piping. very soon (asap) will be a magnaflow high flow cat and soon after that will be LSJ ceramic SS headers. (thank you all who gave me advice on that by the way you have been so helpful here and on ecotec) the catback sounds GREAT...loud...but not even a hint of rice.
so real quick since this is all i got are the before and after.

i would just like to say that i in no way copied Bobby...lol
it was, however, a really funny coincidence that we both had magnaflow catback exhaust done within two days of each other and we both used the same brand shop. lol
about posting a vid...
i will "try" to get that done...its just that nothing i film sounds like my exhaust and does it justice. maybe Bobby (98z24ragtop) can meet up with me again and help?? (thats a real question bro..) lol
it sounds good though...deep...strong...no rice in this bowl. 98z24ragtop will vouch for that im sure..
I have to admit, it does sound very nice. Its a little loud, but sounds good. WAAAY better than I had expected. Definitely louder than mine.

So....what WERE you expecting? lol what did i tell you i was having done? having PVC pipe put together with a maxwell house coffee can out the back? lol
that would be funny...i think i would pay someone for parts if they did that. Ill throw a sound clip up today (saturday) when i uncover the car from all the 2.5 inches of snow we got here in GA.
Mandrel bend?

Crush. I mean what are we talking...2.5 " piping so the bends are what?...2.4 something? the minuscule air flow restriction wont be noticeable on my N/A for a while...if i get alot more power...I was def considering the RD Fabs stuff. Crush bent is still...a HUGE improvement over what was there...lol
Due up tomorrow...
Exhaust clips...
In car and rev from outside...
check back ill try and have it up by like 4-5 pm eastern.
Did you ever get the car repainted where the clear has came off?
Cant wait to hear what it sounds like...
Looks alot better then it did. Good stuff!

It was wet. I washed the car and i dont know why that part didnt want to dry like the rest of the car... but yea, thanks bro...i try to take nice shots...im pretty sure your eye is much more keen to the best angles...you have taken some great stuff. but as always....location location location.
So yes forum, my set up is loud. but its cool cause at least it sounds good imo.
