I don't really like it just because the corners don't continue the look of it. I think if you add in a little bit of the corners it will flow a lot better.

yea i want to do the corners but having alot of issues trying to get them apart. i put them in the oven for 5-10 minutes like the forum said on 300degrees. still cant get them to loosen up. if anyone knows any more advice on how to get them apart it'd be greatly appreciated.

Looks wierd right now, but with the body parts all white and corners done it could be a cool look.

I've never had a prob with the corners using the oven method, you'll still need to pry on them a little it just softens the glue to plyable. I used a big flathead and started at the lower corner by the headlight where the plastics thickest.

yea we got it in about a month ago and we alread sold it. an eye care doctore in texas bought it from us. thats why the fedex transport truck was there to pick it up and deliver it to him. one of our audi techs drove the car when we first got it to do the 30 mile break in and he said that he wasnt as impressed with it as he was with the black r8 v8 auto we had. he said the v8 auto pulled harder b/c the torque specs were closer to the hp specs. its a nice car all around but i'd never spend $155,000 on a car with only 505 all wheel.

needs the hood n trunk done asap to look good.
white corners will help ALOT looks goofy without the white corners!
now all you need to do is P/C the rims white, and get the white vynal interior from
one of those all white convertable cavy's and have a white on white car! would look
TITS!!!!

if your dropping 150k on a car you can afford to add power easily. and power isn't the only thing worth spending your money on. no one would look twice at an evo. most peoples heads will turn in that.

for the lights they look out of place to me. i think once you get a white hood and o the corners though it will match up nicely.

I agree they look out of place right now. Once you get it all tied together it should look sweet. I like where its goin, just not so much where it is, but it still looks better than mine.

Looks good what about doing the corner lights with orange metalcast? Doing them orange might help the white stand out some more and give it contrast.

amber corners. glad to see it going all back to white, its going to look so clean. I would think a carbon fiber hood would work really well though.

I vote for amber corners also. Think it would look better then any white inside the light. I dont think it would turn out as nice as the headlight

Do them black, it will look better.

i think i am going to do the amber corners now that i have been looking on the forum and seeing all the cars with them. i like the look and i agree i dont think the white will look as good as it did in the head lights. i'll upload more pics as i get the car more progressed. toyo tails are on the to do list as well.

Punkerest: i already had the black head lights. i still have them. i actually bought them about a year and a half ago and im just ready for something different. i liked them but just time to change it up.

I've been in a R8 V8 6 Speed and a R8 V10 6 speed, and I don't know what that man is smoking...but there is literally no comparison between the two.

The V10 is twice the car the V8 is IMO, almost makes you wonder why they even make the V8 Model.

Headlights look good btw, but I'll hold back final judgment till the corners are done.

nothing too crazy right now as far as the headlights go. i still want to see some bronze/gold rims on your car. am tempted to photoshop it every time i see pics of it.
once you paint the trunk and hood white, the ride will look a lot more sleeper/smooth. your tails wont fit in then though..

yea im wanting to get some toyo tails. been looking for them for a while now. I had gold wheels on my car for the longest time. i posted alot of pics of them. they are now stripped down and polished. i will be painting the hood and trunk back white in the near future.

thanks for all the comments.

newt: have you ridin in an audi r8 v8 rtronic auto trans though? thats what i was talking about that we had. our r8 v8 was the rtronic trans. he told us that torque wise ( which in my opnion is what gives you the pull when you accelerate) the v10 wasnt impressive at all. seeing as it puts 518bhp and 391ft lbs of torque. and the r8 v8 rtronice puts down 414bhp and 317ft lbs of torque. i have ridin in both and in my personal opinion the v8 rtonic pulled alot harder than the v10. i havent ridin in a r8 v8 6 speed manual. im sure its a bit different from the rtronic trans but im not huge on the audis anyways unless its an S4 or an RS4.
