Only one pic right now (from my phone) but after over a year in storage I finally pulled the polished wheels back out. Car is filthy but it doesnt look as bad when its dirty.
Just for Brad, that is the hood that we put on when I delivered the CF hood to you, the @!#$ty rattle can job I did at Pauls is still holding up.
Not chrome sir.
About ten hours in each wheel and they could probably use another 5 each to get them closer to where I want them. They dulled a bit over the last yearish.
More pics of wheels please. Looks hot

From when I first did them back in 08 (???)
Looking at those pictures made me realize a few things.
The car used to be in a hell of a lot better shape.
I have been using those same damn rotors for almost 2 years, and thats after Jay Van abused them.
The 98 is quickly deteriorating and I need it to last a few more years.
Love the wheels, now you got me wanting to do that

May not be 'as' pretty, but the car is still beautiful to me.
As far as the dulling wouldn't putting a clear coat on help protect them from dulling?
I never got them to where I wanted them. once I am satisfied i will have them clear coated.
idk if i would have them cleared unless the body shop guarantees there work from chipping on them...
and powdercoat clear dulls the polish out, trust me, you do not want to do that.
and clyde, hahahahaha that hood is awesome. go spray bomb flat black!!!!
We all need somebody to believe in something...
Looking good Clyde
I really need to find some motivation to work on mine

For now they have a thick ass coat of wax on them. When these tires are done I will repolish the wheels and see how they turn out.
That hood was done on a humid and cool day with BBQ paint and no decent prepwork to speak of. Sanded and lightly dusted off, then sprayed.
I am going to get a quote from a local place about having my roof vynal coated real soon. Im getting sick of looking at the flaking clear coat.
still liking them!
