Back in Viper Blue!
Wednesday, May 19, 2010 12:55 PM
After repairing a big dent in the passenger quarter panel, removing the door moldings, shaving the trunk emblems and fiberglassing some cracks in the front bumper my car was ready for its paint job. Its now a metallic Viper Blue that Ive always had my sights set on. Took some quick photos before a rinse down and a good tire/rim shine. Keep in mind its staying the way it already is. Theres more pics to be posted soon! Comments are welcome!

color looks great, just needs wet sanded and buffed to get that ultimate sheen.

neat rear lip, wings west? dont see too many lips on the 95-99 like that. pretty cool.

Funny you noticed, just got back in from fixing it. Custom fitting a part as you know wont always come out perfect the first time! Better than paying someone else to do it. Here is the pic. Shouldve washed my hands first due to changing my intake filter right before so excuse the dirtyness.

better in blue for sure. dont like the fender stripes at all. also does need the bumper lights installed, eclipse ones like stated i think. also looks MUCH better with out crappy side mouldings on there all janked up. but if it were mine the stripes would go for sure.

why would you ever want those fender stripes? looks like rice.

Yeah, looks so much better than before. Love the color. Some suggestions: Tints would look great, black fender stripes (if you can't do without them), then powder coat the rims gloss black (leave the lip)..The car would flow better, especially since you already have black tails and headlights.

You say my car looks rice? Have you seen yours? Primer color as paint, red mirrors, yet a carbon fiber hood and aluminum wing.....its best to shut your mouth. So nobody gets me wrong let me say that carbon fiber hoods look great on cars fixed up nicely. The stripes are gone btw, pics are below.

Thanks bleco, I am planning on gloss black 17's with a polished lip. As for tint I do agree it would look good. Gotta see what the legality is here in Georgia first.

The coolest part about ur car is the color. Strips yuck, rear yuck, front yuck rims too small. Just my opinion no need to defend ur car. Its whatever floats ur boat.

Can I please see your car before you run your mouth? What 'strips' are you talking about? Theres nothing like that on my car. I appreciate peoples comments and opinions but you're obviously just being a hater.

Love the color choice man. Looks great.

And I like those rims. Yeah, they are a little on the small side, but I like them! Besides, it's nice to have a little side wall. Don't have to worry about pot holes quite as much.
