I truly am sad to see it go. For those of you who know me, or my car it was around for a long time. You guys know how well I took care of it and it shows. She is still in excellent shape. A lot of blood sweat and tears went into her over the years. We've been through a lot. It has had 2 motors , 2 transmissions, 2 custom turbo setups and 1 M45 Eaton setup (currently installed) .
I bought it new in 2001 for $19,100. She was always garaged kept and never seen snow. I gave him every document I had for the car including original window sticker, manual, invoice, and what not. It is on it's way to a fellow jbo member (Karnage) in Indianapolis . He is a true enthusiast and very nice guy. I'm glad to know that she will be taken care of .
I had to sell because I am jobless (from my career of choice) after 21 months and I have a mortgage . Don't worry I'm not just sitting around but money is tight lol. I will still chime in every once in a while to see what's new.
I'll let the new owner show her off to you. She is still in such amazing shape.
Luke, Thanks again for everything. You have been really cool through the whole thing and a great seller, it was nice meeting you and your family. I promise she is in good hands. I will start a thread tomorrow with the new pics I can get with my new camera.
I had a really nice trip home, and 240 miles went pretty quick and the car drove great, The only thing I am wanting to change is to get my 13w6 installed and buy an amp to get in there and eventually get the meth probably. .
Let me know when you get a new one so we can get together and get some pics next time I am in Chicago.

Second of all, Last couple? I have only had one? Besides buying Wades because he had an engine he thought was good, but it wasnt, So I sold it to a buddy that had an engine like a week later, never even transferred the title or anything.
Thirdly, what are wrong with the first one? It had an accident and broke 4 wheel studs and messed up the fender through no fault of my own, and I parted it out. It looked great and was boosted when it finally broke.
So, I assume your talking about someone else.. but either way, theres no need to be a dick. Esp, when it has nothing to do with you.

haha, it seems like it. What can I say, I decided not to do an Ecotec or Auto swap on Wade's, so I sold it to Ben who has it running now since he had a motor laying around, and picked this up for a DD.
Its VERY nice for a DD I might add. Just bought an SLR, so I will get some pics tomorrow but probably just do it in another thread lol.

i am one of those low profile people that just likes being low key. but i do know your history. barely had a dollar to fix the first j then ran into money. so, you decided turbo was the way to go. also seen atleast 5 or 6 parting out posts to it. window busted out and stereo was stolen with other stuff, from living in a bad neighbor hood. lack of maintance on that car also because you didn't have the money for it.
your lug studs broke for that same reason along with the lack of knowledge thrown in also. you know, main reason for the studs breaking was from constant over torque. its a proven fact, research it if you don't believe me.
i just have a feeling this car will go down the same way as that one did. yeah you have a better start being it was babied all its life and well taken care of. hell he even said it has not seen snow or rain and what are you lookin to do with it??? DD it!?!? yeah thats a hell of a start to "it will be well takin care of." unless things have changed with you, which i have seen no sign of, "wanting to swap a manual into a auto, because once again not enough money to afford to buy the right trans or even motor for that fact. so please don't tell me i don't know who i am talking about.

This is a goodbye thread for him, and a new car for me, and you really are way off base. I really have no idea what you are talking about, I parted it out one time.. when I sold it. Yes, it is going to be a DD, how many people don't have their CAVALIER as a DD, there aren't that many show cars. This car is in really nice shape, but its not a trailer queen that I couldn't DD. Its to go to college and back. Just because it will be daily driven doesn't mean that it wont be taken care of, so I see no logic there. Also, I didn't get rid of Wades car because I couldn't afford to buy a motor.. ( Hello, I bought a car that could have paid for several motors) and I had another Trans. I sold the car because I got a good offer on it without even putting it up for sale from a buddy who went with me to get it, told him I couldn't sell it, then when I found this one, I told him id go ahead and sell it to him so I could buy this and not have to do any swapping because this car was a steal and he needed another J.

Also, just actually read the whole post.. I live in a very decent neighborhood with a nice house, car was always maintained, never broken into, one part out post other than random for sale threads for some old parts I didn't need, no broken window, no stolen radio. Everything worked on the car. The wheel studs were no fault of my own, and I am not the only person this has happened to. ( Go to General and the Sold and Jacked section and read Tabs thread.. it happened to him and others posted that it happened to them. ) I know how to work on a car, and I have always had great help from those when I didn't, and everything I did was in a garage in a nice garage with proper tools
I had the car 5 years, and It wasn't even ticking when I sold it and I sold it with 67k original miles. It was never beat on, all service was done on time every time. You don't know me at all and I have never even heard of you, but I have several people here who can back all of this stuff up.. So really you are talking out of your ass. Especially to act like my house or neighborhood is bad.. that makes no sense and I have never posted pictures of where I live, it is far from a ghetto, maybe a lot of old people.. Either way, I don't know who you are to judge since both cars I had an do have are nicer than anything you have posted in your profile, BY FAR. Four either stock, or destroyed cavaliers, congrats. I think you should just let this one go.

anyways, hope the new owner takes care of it, but then again it is his car now ( the meth injection is a great idea with the gm sc! )

Hey Jake I remember you man no doubt. I bought the 310s off of you for my first prototype turbo kit that went on the car (Super 60) . The fire was minor and was do to a blown power steering line to close to the downpipe. My bro saved the car from total dissaster in a matter of seconds. She was back up and running right after. All that melted were some vacuum lines. No electrical or anything like that thank god lol. Yeah like I said the car has been through a lot.
