2.5 inch would have been better but my 1995 2.2 is a hell of alot quicker than that and i literally just came home from ripping my car to 100, all i have is 3 inch short ram intake spectre filter, 4-1 header (ebay brand maybe idk) 2.5 inch piping all the way back high flow cat and a 3A racing muffler no resonator, pretty loud but i like it.....also lowered 2 inches, not much else ive done, A/C delete but i dont think that does anything, i just took it all out bc it was broken and i never use it
what transmission do you have? 3 speed, 4 speed or 5 manual? mine is 5 manual which i hear has best gears for speed idk, i did have a 2.2 with the 3 speed was alot slower but still seemed faster then this idk it had intake only, but did have low miles (30k)
my 3speed auto 2200sfi is faster...and all i have is an AEM long ram intake, and a fart can welded to the stock piping...
would make a vid...but..shes wrecked tho as of now...goes in for paint in 2 months tho...so will be back on the roads shortly!

your's probly is since you have the 5 speed. the other mods are more supporting mods than anything else and don't really do a whole lot to making a 2.2 faster.

no it's not. you have a 3 speed auto. the intake and a fart can welded to stock exhaust piping makes no difference in how fast your car is. nuff said.

no it's not.just because you have a header, a muffler, and an intake does not mean your'e any faster than any other 2200. it's funny that you think you are though. you have an auto 2200. your car is no faster than any other 2200 even with those awesome "mods".
i'm fully aware the difference is i never spouted off to anyone about how i thought my slow cavalier was faster than anyone else's slow cavalier. thanks for putting me in my place though mr. SS fastman
