Correct me if I am wrong..... these were stock internals? How much boost?
121,408 miles stock internals 16psi for almost a year boosted @ 8psi for a year before that. I think that the boost went alot higher then 16psi cause while i was tearing it down i noticed that the w/g vac line had a burn hole in it .

Same here. But i wont get a STI, i cant have my DD being more fun than my weekend car. BTW i got to ride in a new STI with lowering springs, swaybars, exhaust, race brake pads, and Hooser slicks on a fast auto-x course yesterday and OMG. I never new a car could do what it did....

Ours is just a WRX i couldnt justify the extra like 6 grand for an extra gear driver controlled diff 40 more hp and lower gas mileage the 268hp is fun enough for me and plus i still gotta raise the sunfire from the dead

yeah 2011 the wrx has the 2010 sti look. personally would rather the 10 wrx wagon. but either way they are sexy.
Ouch about the fire, but the Scooby is nice! I intend to get an 11'+ STI sedan when I return stateside. Good luck with the rebuild =]
