Well I had the itch for a while so decided to do the headlight swap on my TRD bumper. Not fully finished but for the most part it turned out well. Only problems are that I cut a little too much for the corners but I already made some fiberglass cut outs to fill in those gaps so Im not concerned about it. On with the pics! Sorry about the picture quality, my digital camera isnt working so I had to use my cell phone.

Materials I used-the 80 grit was to sand down the edges to make them even


The results-had to bend the mounting points a little to make the corners fit



Lights installed-dont mind the fiberglass spots on the bumper

The HIDs have a very good light pattern. The bottom reflector is black so maybe thats why the hot spots are reduced.

that looks hot. but you need to cut those corner brackets off and get you some 00-02 light brackets.

azncav, what brackets do u speak of? I bought my 02 z24 and it had the pre 2000 ebay halos, I swap rhose out for the 2002s....and Im having issues with my corners fitting right

Yes, I stated I already cut out the shapes to fill in those gaps.

measure twice cut once. but seriously it looks good.

looks great. i love it.probably my favorite headlight combo.

now if only the extreme tuner came fit to 00-02

That's one of the best mods you can do to that bumper. nice job, it looks great. just clean up the edges and finish the bumper so it has that little shelf that the headlights rest on like an oem bumper.

If I ever can afford to get my hands on one when one is available lord fusor and other various things will attempt to make that happen.
