rhd swapping to me, atleast is pointless.

I think switching to RHD is part of the considerable amount of work done. Why bother keeping one part of a ridiculously modified car stock?

Are you trying to keep air, heater etc?
Reason I ask, is I've been up close and personal with a couple of those half cuts (mind you we are going on about a decade ago) but IIRC getting your hands on a rhd steering rack would be a good start, I'd be willing to bet someone with your skills could handle the rest. You might be wasting money on a front clip.
