RKSport offroad use only ?
Sunday, November 28, 2004 4:41 PM
Why is the header and the one intake from RKSport for the 2.4 off road use only?
I work at Honda dealership so getting emissions and inspection stickers isn't a problem. (lick and stick) your input would be appreciated. Thanks

Directly from I-Performance's FAQ:

Quote:

Are your headers legal in California?
California Air Research Board certification is an expensive and time consuming process for getting headers and other aftermarket parts legalized to pass visual inspection in California. That added cost would have to be passed on to the customer and headers would cost more than double what they do without CARB certification. Because of this, there are no headers for Cavalier, or Sunfire which have CARB certification, not from us and not from any other manufacturer. Our headers meet or exceed all emissions requirements and will have no problem passing emissions performance tests for tailpipe emissions.

So no, that is also not 50 state legal.

it all depends on where you live if it is street legal, check your local laws, if you don't know your inspector <br>
