changing headlight bulbs

ok heres the thing i change the blubs on my 04 but it burnt the computer why did it do that and thats this mean you cant change the bulbs

What bulbs did you change? What wattage? There should be no way for that to happen unless its a Lemon, or really bad replacement of a product by your self.

How do you know the comp was fried?

What are the symtoms?

well this is a while back i dont remember the brand and i know how to install bulbs and the reason i knew is that my fog lights wouldnt go on and i have warrenty so i took it in

^ nothing was wired incorrect because its a new car? why do you think they give you a warranty? just because its a new car doesnt mean its perfect.

yea there is fuses which should prevent anything like that from occuring the pcm dont even control any headlight functions, maybe the bcm was damaged but its unlikely, sounds like you have other issues
