I romoved my Chevy bow tie and I can still kinda see where it was but I have cleaned the area as much as i can, does anyone have anysuggestion or am I just being pikcky cuz its really no that noticable.......

Tomorrow I will get a good look at it in daylight and give the hood a coat of wax and see if that helps but hopefully someone has an answer.

goo gone and a soft cloth if you havent done that yet... or some type of adhesive remover..

yea have done all that goo gone stuff and it worked great but I can still see the shape of the bow tie....and its not really flue, like if i feel it its NOT bumpy or anything.......so maybe its just really clean in that area.....
I'll see how it looks tomorrow and maybe i'll take apic to show you guys.

how long has the bowtie been on? the most probable thing is that the paint just isn't faded because the bowtie was there to block the sun.

well the car was on the road june 30th 2002 not by me...i bought the car march 10th 2004......

so if thats the case will it eventually fasde and look even witht eh rest of the hood?
if not i dont think I want to take of the rest of the emblems like the Z24 on the sides and the bow tie on the rear.

The best thing to do is to wax the whole hood, then do it again, and again, and again, and again. It took me probably 5 or 6 coats of wax before everything was well blended. With your car being newer, it should match fine after several coats of a high-glass wax.

rub some rubbing compound on it and then some finish restorer to your whole hood 3M makes it you can get it at wal-mart
