Auto Trans Interseptor

I was looking around for parts and saw an "Automatic Transmission Interseptor". Has anyone installed one of these? Is there really any difference in handling / acceleration?

It adjusts the line pressure of the transmission, and also on older versions, you can adjust the torque converter lockup.
It makes each shift harder/firmer and faster.
Helps acceleration.
A b&m shiftplus does the same and can be adjusted from in the car for 40$ (max). Instead of 140$

Will only work on your car if your shifter selector has ALL of the following items:

P R N D 3 2 1

Will not work if you are missing the "3"

It is just for racing applications or would it be safe to run on an every day car with out burning out gears?

From the guys that have it installed, are you running the b&m shiftplus or the actual Auto Trans Intercepter?

I don't trust something that cheap unless it's been PROVEN. $40 module attached to the transmission vs. a $140 module...

I know there's the saying "you get what you pay for" but then, somethings are just wayyyy over priced. SO until I see a review on the B&M, I'll save for the AutoTrans Interceptor

My "$140 module" stopped working after about 3 weeks, maybe a fluke but you don't always get what you pay for. Most people seem to agree that the B&M is just as good or better, just a little more difficult to install and remove, but again mine seems to have taken a crap on me and was 3x as expensive and now is worthless.

I've been running the Intercepter for about 3 months now at 25% with no problems. 50% is reccommended, but i didn't like staring at my "TRAC OFF" light... I'd see it oout of the corner of my eye and think it was a CEL

Anyway, both are good products, which ever one you get is up to you.
