i just bought a front strut tower brace , i put it on, it fit right but now my hood wont close correctly , it sticks up a little, and theres a small gap between the hood an d fender on one side. so my question is , has anyone else had this problem, and how can i fix it?

try flipping the bar over. so the side that is face up now is down.

What year is your car?

My friend has a strut bar on his 2nd gen (1993) and he has the same problem.

If you have a 2nd gen (1991? to 1994) you may be having the same problem.

He forced his closed, which eventually wore out his latch, and now he has hood pins... they look horrible on a cavi.

He also has a problem where its pushing on his master cylinder cap some, but not much so its no big deal.
