comp test

Iam going to do a compression test on my 1989 cavalier (2.0L) I was wondering if there were any other ways to desconnect the fuel and coil system other then trying to get at them. Is it possible to just pull the ecm fuse for the coils? I was thinking the same for the fuel system thought i cannot seem to find a fuse for it. thanks

Pull the fuel pump fuse, to do a compression test you need to take the spark plugs out anyway, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.
