swapping tranny from auto to 5 spd. would i need to buy just a tranny (like hondas they are just a linkage tranny.) or would i have to buy motor as well? just wondering

if you know, how much would the whole swap cost for either 2.2 / 2.2 eco-tec / 2.4 cost???

if you realyl wanted a 5 speed, why didnt you just get one to begin with?

because the parents chose the car.

My guess is parents are going to be more willing to let you trade the car for a different one than rip up a perfectly working one and putting a different transmission in it. Save up the money for the difference and just go get a different car, it would be a lot easier and better than trying to do the swap when you factor in parents, and all other BS.
