i took my factory resonator out yesterday and now the popping that is usually there is more sharp and a bit higher pitched. I was wondering if the popping will get less sharp and annoying in a couple weeks, or will it stay the same. In which case i'll have to put in a resonator to tone it down a bit. The thing that sucks is that i like how loud the exhaust is without the resonator and really don't want to put anything in that will make it quiet

so don't be lame, and do your exhaust right... header, high flow cat, muffler, small res, and it will be loud. and good sounding.... AND FILL OUT YOUR VECHICLE REGISTRY!

i bet your exhaust sounds like crap without that resonator. a 18 inch resonator should be ok and make it sound better
