i have a 5 spd. 01 z24 it has 87000 miles on it. jsut recently ive noticed when im idling my rpms are never constant always moving from about 1000 to 1400 or so. i jsut want to see if this is normal or if i need to check wires, or if i need new injectors or somethnig like that. ok well thanks in advance guys.

Any check eninge light? When does it occur? During warm up or after it has ran for a while? The IACM (idle air control motor) adjust due to load/idle possition. Sometime the Air intake Temp sensor causes the idle to jump around also.
Tell us a little more on the situation.

no check engine lights, it will do it right at start up but also after engine is all warmed up.

my '87 z24 5 spd that and i just ran a system check on mine and i got a bad throttle position sensor so you might wanna check that
