I just want to know something, my header make my car sound horrible ( the intallation of the cat is temporary (with U collar). I've done a quick search and since I want to get the sound that my car had with my Vibrant catback before the installation of the header, I'll buy a Vibrant 18" resonator (2.25" inlet/outlet). My question is does the resonator will reduce my header sound so I'll get my nice sound back?

Resonators usually dont make the car quiet but it helps. It's good for taking out rasp and buzz sounds out of the exhaust.

actually the resonator will quiet it down a bit. especially being 2.25" piping.
